Position Overview:
As a Floating Plant Clerk, you will be integral to the operational success of our asphalt facilities. This role involves travel to various sites, ensuring that administrative functions are executed efficiently. You will handle essential clerical tasks, maintain records, and facilitate communication between customers and team members to support seamless operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Effective Communication: Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and colleagues, addressing inquiries and concerns proactively.
  2. Clerical Expertise: Perform a variety of administrative duties, including accounts payable processing, payroll entry, and mail management, ensuring smooth office operations.
  3. Transaction Processing: Utilize the Peckham POS system to manage scale tickets for sales, adhering to established protocols.
  4. Data Management: Oversee plant reporting systems by accurately entering sales, material intake, and production data to support operational decisions.
  5. Inventory Oversight: Track fuel deliveries and consumption, ensuring sufficient supply levels for uninterrupted plant operations.
  6. Safety Compliance: Conduct regular inventory assessments and manage the ordering of office supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain operational readiness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
