Position Overview:
This role is centered on delivering technical expertise for both new and retrofitted substation upgrade initiatives. These projects encompass interconnections or enhancements to various voltage substations, including 4.8kV, 13.2kV, 24kV, 40kV, and 120kV.

SCADA Engineering Responsibilities:
Engineers in this position will engage with multiple SCADA software platforms, such as SEL Accelerator RTAC, QuickSet, Diagram Builder, NTU/NTX Explorer, SetPoint, IONSetup, Hathaway, Microsol, and Landis. Key responsibilities include:
1. Customizing data logging systems.
2. Managing alarm systems.
3. Understanding and applying communication protocols, including Modbus and DNP3.

Key Accountabilities:
The senior engineer will be tasked with planning and executing engineering activities, employing advanced techniques and theoretical applications. Responsibilities include:
1. Leading and participating in teams comprising field employees, technicians, and engineers.
2. Directing significant projects or field engineering assignments with intricate features.
3. Conducting engineering studies and proposing effective solutions to technical challenges.
4. Collaborating with external departments, vendors, and reliability entities.
5. Preparing and presenting engineering-related projects to management and external stakeholders.
6. Managing group workflows to align with budgetary and scheduling requirements.
7. Mentoring junior staff and providing guidance as needed.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
2. Preferred: A Master's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with four years of experience in developing and implementing SCADA system architectures.
3. Strong understanding of network architecture, database management, and software development principles, along with the ability to interpret protection schematics and wiring diagrams pertinent to SCADA.

Skills Required:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
3. Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
