Position Title: Scada Engineer/ Control Systems Engineer

Location: Detroit, Michigan - Hybrid - 3 days on-site as required

Role Summary:

The candidate will be expected to be available for on-call support to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting troubleshooting and repairs on operational technology system assets.
  • Performing preventive maintenance on operational technology assets.
  • Configuring operational technology assets.
  • Designing, installing, and maintaining network and communication infrastructure.
  • Supporting staff and management with overflow activities related to IT equipment.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the operational technology network.
  • Keeping current with control system technologies and standards.
  • Collaborating with vendors to troubleshoot and maintain new equipment.
  • Completing daily assigned work duties.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members and other departments regarding processes, equipment, and potential issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications in Emerson Ovation (minimum Ov230 preferred Ov400), Allen Bradley PLCs, and FactoryTalk SE/ME are preferred (e.g., CCNA, VMware).

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and respond to after-hours emergencies.
