Business Services Operations Manager

Overview: This role involves overseeing daily operations for designated service clients. The individual will serve as a primary contact for significant clients, collaborating with Area Services Managers on growth initiatives, financial planning, and evaluating profit and loss metrics.
Key Responsibilities: The following duties are essential to this position. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
- Manages the scheduling of client installation projects and service appointments.
- Ensures effective communication among leadership, service teams, sales personnel, clients, and relevant staff members.
- Supervises administrative tasks at the facility, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and documentation for completed work.
- Coordinates with Shop Service Managers to allocate support resources as required, and collaborates with Project Management and Sales teams for strategic initiatives.
- Identifies and develops service maintenance opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Oversees the execution of installation and service projects.
- Ensures timely responses to all communications.
- Works alongside inside and outside sales teams to foster new and ongoing business relationships.
- Accompanies sales representatives on client visits as necessary.
- Assists in designing systems tailored to client requirements and in preparing project proposals.
- Engages in customer service activities as needed.
- Conducts technical service tasks and coordinates external service when necessary.
- Acts as a first-line manager for team members, handling responsibilities such as hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Duties:
Oversees administrative support, installation processes, and technical operations for Day Wireless resources and subcontractors. Executes supervisory responsibilities in alignment with organizational policies and legal requirements, including directing daily work, approving time off, and recommending personnel actions.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or vocational institution in electronics and wireless system repair; along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience in electronic communications repair; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
A valid Driver's License is required.
