Role Summary: We are in search of a committed and skilled Head Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage the housekeeping crew at Milwaukee Airport. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in commercial sanitation, outstanding leadership capabilities, and a dedication to upholding the highest cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee and direct the operations of the housekeeping team.
  • Guarantee that all sections of the airport are maintained to the utmost cleanliness standards, including restrooms, waiting areas, offices, and other public zones.
  • Perform regular evaluations to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • Train and guide housekeeping personnel on effective cleaning methods, equipment usage, and safety practices.
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all necessary items are adequately stocked and functioning properly.
  • Respond swiftly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from airport management.
  • Maintain open communication with airport staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare work schedules and delegate tasks to housekeeping personnel.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance or repair requirements to the relevant department.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
  • This is a hands-on supervisory role that includes daily cleaning responsibilities.

Qualifications:

*High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

*Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

*Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals utilized in commercial cleaning operations.

*Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.

*Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.

*Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards and quality assurance.

*Ability to communicate effectively with cleaning staff, airport management, and other stakeholders.

*Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

*Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks and navigate the airport terminal.

*Willingness to undergo background checks and security screenings as mandated for employment at the airport.

*Previous cleaning experience is a plus.

Note: This job description is intended to outline the general duties and responsibilities of the Head Housekeeping Supervisor position. Duties may be modified or expanded based on the needs of the airport and the cleaning company.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly, bend, stretch, climb stairs, climb a ladder, reach, twist, sit, walk, and squat. Must be comfortable working on feet for the entire shift.
