The Clinical Nurse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing nursing functions to ensure the well-being and treatment of individuals in alignment with the standards set by InCommunity and the relevant Nursing Licensing authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing leadership to the Crisis Support Homes, ensuring quality care in the designated regions.
  • Supervise and mentor Lead LPNs, facilitating their training and managing performance evaluations.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to offer guidance and support to nursing staff, particularly during new admissions.
  • Co-facilitate staff meetings and participate in planning sessions for admissions and discharges as necessary.
  • Review and verify nursing documentation to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Be available for on-call duties to address staffing needs and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Engage with medical professionals to discuss patient care and medication management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Act as a nursing consultant for community needs assessments.
  • Audit patient records to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of assessments for individuals receiving care.
  • Deliver health education and training to staff to enhance service quality.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulations.
  • Regularly consult with the Director of Nursing to address ongoing challenges.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
