As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team, providing expert care to individuals in crisis. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Administering medications and monitoring clients' health.
  • Collaborating with our skilled staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Processing medication orders and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Conducting client assessments and providing supportive counseling.
  • Dispensing methadone and managing medication inventories.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to medication administration.
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of medications and their effects on clients.
  • Establishing rapport with clients to foster a supportive environment.
  • Accurately documenting client interactions and medication dispensing.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in medication administration or in a related healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
