Key Responsibilities
The Crisis Response Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Leading the healthcare system's initiatives to engage staff and manage the Comprehensive Emergency Management Program effectively.
- Facilitating continuous enhancement of emergency response strategies across the healthcare system.
- Coordinating emergency operations to prevent, protect, mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from various emergencies.
- Collaborating with program coordinators in areas such as Emergency Management, Safety, and Clinical Support.
- Developing and executing emergency plans and training exercises in alignment with established directives.
- Building partnerships with community stakeholders to support national emergency management objectives.
- Representing senior leadership in critical planning sessions and response meetings.
- Providing guidance on accountability measures for employees and vulnerable populations during emergencies.
- Ensuring timely reporting of accountability data to relevant command centers.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with community partners to enhance program visibility and understanding.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Telework: This position may offer telework options, which will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience relevant to emergency management operations. This experience should demonstrate the ability to apply emergency management policies, respond to crises, and manage operational plans effectively.
Physical Requirements: The role may involve physical activities during emergency situations, including the need to carry equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
