SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee estimation and procurement for US Solar's expanding portfolio of solar and energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Development and Operations teams to create and update initial project budgets and cash flow analyses.
  • Establish standardized pricing frameworks for labor and materials based on market conditions, project scale, and type.
  • In partnership with our Operations team, develop and maintain US Solar's Approved Vendor List, which includes a library of vendors and consultants, technical specifications, installation manuals, warranties, and bankability data.
  • Manage the estimation and procurement of materials such as modules, inverters, DAS, racking systems, single-axis trackers, BESS, transformers, switchgear, and MV equipment.
  • Build and sustain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to remain informed about current and emerging market trends.
  • Draft and manage Requests for Proposals for material acquisitions.
  • Negotiate Purchase Agreements and prepare Purchase Orders, collaborating with internal stakeholders to secure expenditure approvals.
  • Monitor order progress from placement through to delivery.
  • Ensure vendors and suppliers adhere to delivery schedules, maintain material quality, and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a comparable role or with similar core competencies.
  • Experience in Solar PV and Energy Storage is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
