WHAT IS THE ROLE OF SUPPLY CHAIN AT GENERAL MILLS?

WHAT WILL I DO?

As a Supply Chain Logistics Associate (SCLA), you will be immediately challenged with functional, broadening, and leadership experiences at a manufacturing location to prepare you for positions of greater responsibility in our Planning, Logistics Operations, and Customer Fulfillment (PLCF) organization at our world headquarters in Minneapolis or in one of our manufacturing plant locations nationwide. You'll make an impact by:

  • Orchestrating millions of dollars of raw material and finished goods throughout the network
  • Planning production schedules to meet business requirements and key events while maximizing production efficiencies
  • Managing people in manufacturing and warehouse operations
  • Leading complex projects while leveraging General Mills project management processes and standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations Management
  • Graduating in Winter 2024 or Spring 2025
  • Strong academic record
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high learning agility, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical expertise and process leadership

HUNGRY FOR WHAT'S NEXT?

  • Start Date of January/February 2025 or Summer 2025

The base salary for this position is $71,000. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their role. The salary for this role represents the factors considered in the hiring decision including education and degree obtained. Beyond base salary, General Mills offers a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall physical wellbeing & mental health. In this role you will be able to participate in our annual incentive program. An incentive award, if any, depends on various factors, including, individual and organizational performance.
