Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Operations Specialist:

  • Foster and enhance relationships with carriers and client representatives.
  • Evaluate costs and financial data to devise strategies, policies, and budgets aimed at boosting profitability and enhancing service quality.
  • Negotiate and approve contracts with suppliers of equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • Maintain consistent communication with existing clients to assess their shipping requirements, delivering prompt customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to develop and implement policies, procedures, objectives, and goals.
  • Oversee the inventory of goods, vehicles, and personnel.
  • Manage the order fulfillment process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with established policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Collaborative Team Player: Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.
  • Organizational Skills: Capable of setting specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
