About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Regional Sales Team at CoStar Group, Inc. As a key member of our senior sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive Sales Growth

Develop and execute sales plans to achieve corporate objectives, driving sales growth of at least 20% annually for the Lending organization.

  1. Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

Attract, develop, and retain a strong team of Regional Directors and Sales Representatives, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.

  1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with Regional Directors to develop them into high-performing sales leaders, ensuring they are equipped to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

  1. Identify and Address Training Needs

Identify training needs for the CoStar Group sales team and develop strategies to address them, ensuring our sales team has the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

  1. Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, enhancing retention and driving sales growth.

  1. Stay Ahead of Industry Trends

Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices in the sales function, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.

Requirements

  1. Education

A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in business, economics, or finance is preferred.

  1. Experience

At least 10 plus years of progressive experience in a sales leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of rapidly growing a sales organization or division.

  1. Industry Experience

Preferred experience in industries including lending institutions, information services, and commercial real estate.

  1. Skills and Attributes

Data-driven sales executive with a strong performance management orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the highest level of integrity.
