Position Overview

The role of Regional Sales Vice President involves the critical task of building and maintaining a high-performing Sales team within a designated area to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives. This position is centered around devising and executing a strategic framework aimed at consistently meeting sales quotas, effectively managing referral networks, attracting top talent, and expanding market presence. The Regional Sales Vice President takes a proactive approach, mentoring sales personnel and leaders while providing ongoing opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate Paycor's sales vision, strategic initiatives, and organizational updates to the Sales team, ensuring alignment at all levels within the region.
  • Formulate a strategic plan for consistently achieving sales targets, including leveraging referral sources, identifying key prospects, developing staffing strategies, and expanding the regional footprint.
  • Forge partnerships with channel partners to secure business referrals.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to cultivate local referenceable clients and enhance brand visibility.
  • Recruit, interview, and select talent to build a high-achieving Sales team.
  • Oversee the performance and professional development of sales executives and sales leaders.
  • Manage the development and execution of individual and regional business strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to Paycor's sales processes, practices, and policies by the Sales team.
  • Analyze sales activities and results to guide performance and provide insights for senior management reporting.
  • Represent Paycor in the community to strengthen business relationships and enhance brand recognition.
  • Uphold ethical business standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience leading a successful sales team.
  • Ability to oversee and evaluate all aspects related to sales activities and processes to ensure goal achievement.
  • Proven history of leading a sales team to exceed assigned quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop sales talent, including individual contributors and sales leaders.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
