Position Overview

The role of Regional Sales Vice President involves the critical task of building and sustaining a high-caliber Sales team within a designated territory to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives. This position requires the development and execution of a strategic framework aimed at consistently meeting sales quotas, effectively managing referral networks, attracting top talent, and expanding the regional footprint. The Regional Sales Vice President plays an active role in guiding the performance of sales representatives and leaders, while providing ongoing learning and development opportunities for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate Paycor's sales vision, strategic initiatives, and organizational updates to the Sales team, ensuring alignment at all levels within the region.
  • Formulate a strategic approach for consistently achieving sales targets, including leveraging referral sources, identifying key prospects, managing staffing strategies, and expanding the territory.
  • Forge partnerships with channel partners to secure business referrals.
  • Execute marketing initiatives to develop local referenceable clients and enhance brand visibility.
  • Recruit, interview, and select talent to build a high-performing Sales team.
  • Oversee the performance and professional development of sales executives and sales leaders.
  • Direct the creation and implementation of individual and regional business plans.
  • Ensure compliance of the Sales team with Paycor's sales processes, practices, and policies.
  • Analyze sales activities and results to guide performance and provide insights for senior management reporting.
  • Represent Paycor in the community to strengthen business relationships and enhance brand recognition.
  • Uphold ethical business standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience leading a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to oversee and evaluate all aspects related to sales activities and processes to ensure goal achievement.
  • Proven track record of leading a sales team to exceed assigned quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop sales talent, including individual contributors and sales leaders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
