  • Adhere to all company policies and established protocols.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company's grooming standards.
  • Delegate tasks to front-end and service desk associates during slower periods as per the Service Leader Assignment Sheets.
  • Assist with special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Uphold all safety standards and promptly report any maintenance or repair needs. Ensure the workspace is free from hazards.
  • Monitor customer behavior to ensure security and report any suspicious activities to management.
  • Safeguard the front-end cash drawer when unattended and protect company assets.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in accordance with company policies and health regulations.
  • Regularly perform cashier and bagging duties as needed.
  • Occasionally handle service desk and bookkeeping functions if trained.
  • Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to perform specific job functions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and technical requirements.
  • Proven ability to fulfill the technical demands of cashier and service desk roles.

Training Requirements:

For Service Desk/Kiosk Stores:
Completion of Cashier/Service Associate and Service Desk/Kiosk training.

For Non-Service Desk/Kiosk Stores:
Completion of Cashier training.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions while standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting items weighing up to 15 pounds consistently, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to push or pull weights up to 75 pounds as needed.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of gathering and transporting multiple shopping carts.
  • Ability to handle various substances related to cleaning and food products.
  • Sufficient vision to verify identification and review written documents.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Foster customer goodwill through exceptional service and efficient issue resolution.
  • Develop effective work schedules for associates to optimize customer service and minimize wait times.
  • Manage cash pickups and change orders as required.
  • Verify customer identification and adhere to store policies regarding the sale of restricted items.
  • Ensure a smooth refund process for customers while adhering to company policies.
  • Supervise the performance of front-end and service desk associates as directed by management.
  • Treat all team members with respect and fairness, recognizing achievements and providing constructive feedback.
  • Must meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations.
