Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is primarily accountable for delivering leadership and guidance across all facets of Manufacturing in alignment with Cirtec's operational objectives. It involves collaborating with other company executives to facilitate the attainment of organization-wide goals and targets. The position demands effective leadership to meet business aims encompassing cost efficiency, quality assurance, productivity enhancement, safety compliance, and optimal resource management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure adherence to the Company's quality management system in line with both company and client standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Organize and allocate work assignments to fulfill customer obligations, including efficient scheduling of overtime and leave.
  • Assess ongoing workforce needs based on production timelines, customer demands, and employee performance metrics.
  • Guarantee safe working conditions and maintain cleanliness in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize the company ERP system to oversee shop floor activities for accuracy and completeness.
  • Engage with technical teams as necessary to secure required support.
  • Conduct interviews and make recommendations for hiring, ensuring comprehensive orientation, training, and development to cultivate a skilled workforce.
  • Effectively manage and assess employee performance, providing motivation, coaching, and disciplinary actions to maximize organizational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product development and manufacturing transition teams to offer insights on design for manufacturability, process innovation, and planning for production flow and tools aligned with projected volumes.
  • Facilitate clear communication with all functional managers regarding product and process designs, material utilization, quality protocols, cross-functional initiatives, inventory management, and facility layouts.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing necessary modifications to enhance processes, workflows, facilities, equipment, and employee productivity to boost service performance.
  • Foster a culture of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and teamwork.
  • Assist Quality teams during audits from regulatory bodies and clients.
  • Ensure timely achievement of quality deliverables.
  • Travel as necessary to support business functions.
  • Adhere to company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This position is not eligible for remote work.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of supervisory experience, or 7 years of supervisory experience in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in Medical Device manufacturing or other highly regulated industries, with over 10 years of experience.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in training employees in productivity and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Ability to mentor and coach employees both individually and in groups.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical specifications.
  • Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for process enhancement and problem resolution. Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of ERP/MRP business operations.
  • Working knowledge of financial principles related to budgeting, cost accounting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Suite).
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exhibits a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
