- Operate Forklift Safely and Efficiently: Safely operate a forklift up to 85% of the day, ensuring the efficient movement of products and materials.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Keep equipment in good working order and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements in material flow and job tasks, and maintain equipment used to management.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate supply needs to management and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing material.
- Meet Productivity Goals: Meet assigned productivity goals by utilizing best practices and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Work Schedule and Flexibility: Work a varied schedule and have flexible hours, with the ability to travel between Goodwill locations as needed.
- Forklift Experience: Prior work experience must include roles with forklift usage up to 50% of the day.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel between Goodwill locations during shift, as needed.
- Forklift Certification: Able to complete and retain forklift certification.
- Safety and Quality: Maintain safety and quality guidelines, prioritizing multiple work assignments and competing priorities.
- Customer Service: Consistently provide the highest levels of customer service by meeting Retail standards/expectations and Goodwill's Values.
- Communication: Communicate to customers, donors, employees, and visitors in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Security and Confidentiality: Follow established security procedures and maintain confidentiality of business results.
