**Job Summary**
Johnson Fitness & Wellness is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician I to join our team in the assembly department. As an Assembly Technician I, you will be responsible for the assembly of diversified sized units of strength and health equipment under the direction of the Assembly Supervisor.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate in one section of the assembly department, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
- Empty painted parts/machines from racks and bring racks back to the paint department, maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Remove small quantities of metal with hand or power tools to produce close fit parts, demonstrating attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Fasten machine parts together with bolts, screws, and other fasteners according to building instructions and blueprints, adhering to quality standards.
- Package machine attachments and parts according to instructions, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Have all necessary tools required at your work station and in proper working condition, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance is essential, as is the ability to work overtime as needed.
