POSITION SUMMARY
This role is crucial for delivering leadership and support across all facets of Manufacturing, aligned with Cirtec's operational requirements. The individual will collaborate with other company executives to help achieve overarching organizational goals and objectives. The position entails providing the necessary guidance to meet business targets, including cost efficiency, quality assurance, productivity enhancement, safety compliance, and optimal resource management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adherence to the Company's quality management system, meeting both company and client standards.
- Maintain compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Plan and allocate work assignments effectively to fulfill customer obligations, including managing overtime and leave schedules.
- Assess ongoing employee resource needs based on production timelines, customer demands, and workforce utilization metrics.
- Guarantee safe working conditions and proper housekeeping practices in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Utilize the company’s ERP system to oversee shop floor activities for accuracy and completeness.
- Engage with technical teams as necessary to secure additional support.
- Conduct interviews and recommend candidates for hiring. Provide orientation, training, and development to ensure a skilled workforce.
- Effectively manage and assess employee performance, providing motivation, coaching, and necessary disciplinary actions to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Collaborate with product development and manufacturing transfer teams to advise on design for manufacturability, process development, and planning for manufacturing workflows and tools.
- Communicate efficiently with all functional managers regarding product and process designs, material utilization, quality protocols, and facility layouts.
- Take a proactive role in continuous improvement initiatives, implementing necessary changes to enhance processes, workflows, facilities, equipment, and employee productivity.
- Foster a culture of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and teamwork.
- Assist Quality teams during audits from regulatory bodies and clients.
- Meet quality deliverables punctually.
- Travel as needed to support business operations.
- Adhere to company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of managerial experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of supervisory experience, or 7 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
- Experience in Medical Device manufacturing or other highly regulated industries with over 10 years of experience.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Proven success in training employees on productivity and safety practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Able to coach and mentor employees individually and in groups.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement and problem-solving; Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
- Solid understanding of ERP/MRP business functions.
- Working knowledge of financial principles related to budgeting, cost accounting, and variance analysis.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
