Job Overview

Position Summary:

In the role of Channel Management for our DeskTopSEM Electron Microscopy division across Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA), you will be tasked with spearheading all sales initiatives within the Materials and Structural Analysis Division. Your main goal will be to meet current booking objectives through indirect sales channels while providing strategic oversight and operational guidance to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and ensure sustainable growth. Collaboration within a matrix structure is crucial as you engage with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions to enhance our regional value proposition. Key Responsibilities:

Distributor Sales:

  • Build and nurture relationships with channel partners to optimize market access.
  • Identify and onboard suitable channel partners, continuously enhancing existing channels.
  • Supervise distributor activities to drive optimal marketing and sales results for DTS EM products.
  • Formulate and execute distributor marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Establish a performance scorecard system to foster continuous improvement across channels.
Candidate Profile:

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive commercial background in the EEMEA region.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Electron Microscopy Management.
  • A proven history of effective leadership in matrix environments, motivating and guiding teams.
  • Strong coaching and talent development capabilities.
  • A deep commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in commercial sales, Channel Management, and marketing tools.
  • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Ability to generate and interpret performance data to drive insights.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Significant experience in the Electron Microscopy sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Resilience and determination to achieve desired results.
  • A reflective mindset, learning from experiences to enhance performance.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
