Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to cultivate new commercial partnerships that will lead to increased revenue for the organization. This includes identifying emerging markets and business opportunities, as well as enhancing existing client relationships to drive further sales and maximize profitability.

This position requires a dynamic, sales-oriented individual with strategic thinking capabilities, capable of engaging in high-level B2B sales.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the sales cycle; generate leads; conduct introductory calls regarding TLC's offerings; deliver presentations, ask insightful questions, and gather relevant data; pitch solutions, negotiate terms, and finalize sales.
  • Represent TLC to prospective clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails, providing guidance on products, including upcoming developments and special offers.
  • Accountable for establishing a sales pipeline that aligns with set targets for the short, medium, and long term.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client goals and business needs, including return on investment objectives and responses to requests for proposals.
  • Collect market and customer insights.
  • Create and manage client proposals and contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships through regular review meetings.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of TLC's product offerings and pricing structures.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the sale, including promotional costs and redemption rates, are clearly communicated to client services.
  • Fully comprehend TLC's terms of business.
  • Estimate profit margins for all projects.
  • Ensure that payment arrangements are established prior to project initiation and adhered to.
  • Occasionally collaborate with client service and finance teams on client payment collections.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Demonstrated sales experience with a proven track record of adding value through sales achievements.
  • Understanding of marketing processes and terminology, with the ability to adopt a consultative approach with clients.
  • Skilled in both written and verbal communication, with strong listening abilities.
  • Experienced in fostering effective working relationships with clients and colleagues, leveraging these relationships to enhance value for both TLC and its clients.
  • Possesses a commercial mindset when making decisions to maximize value for both TLC and clients.
