About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Automation Director to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our consumer demand generation team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our automated communication strategies to drive consumer demand and improve member outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of automated communication strategies across multiple channels, including email, SMS, and in-app messaging.
  • Develop and implement targeted campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, creating supporting automated workflows as assigned and scheduled.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of automated communications, using data to inform insights and improve effectiveness.
  • Design and implement interaction experiments and employ A/B testing to regularly learn what audience engagement best advances our business.
  • Oversee servicing support requests related to automated communication issues and concerns.
  • Lead and develop other members of the automated communications team, within the greater consumer demand generation team.
Requirements
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
  • Experience with campaign performance reporting to inform insights that inform action.
  • Experience with using project management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with mobile communication channels, including push, in-app messaging, and SMS.
  • Demonstrated experience with effective communication and organization skills in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML for limited cosmetic edits and alterations.
  • Knowledge of CCPA, TCPA, and other relevant privacy regulations.
  • A record of success with journey building and end-to-end email execution, with an understanding of email best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with other digital marketing automation systems, including Adobe Marketing Cloud.
  • Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and Social Studio experience.
  • Experience with the highly regulated healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud contact management and workflow automation.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
