Front Desk Representative

At Daily Management, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and owners, ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay.
- Process guest registration, handle room assignments, and offer additional services as needed.
- Accommodate special requests, process check-outs, and ensure accurate transactions.
- Maintain accurate records, balance transactions, and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping to report special needs, late checkouts, and early arrivals.
- Review online travel agency sites to verify arrivals and create new reservations as needed.
- Issue and collect vendor and security keys, and update reservation status as necessary.
- Perform daily in-house registration form checks and identify discrepancies.
- Complete all tasks on the shift checklist and maintain a clean, safe, and organized front desk area.
- Adhere to Daily Management policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and upholding high ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Exhibit exceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as computer proficiency.
- Be dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays.
- Perform basic math and handle cash and/or credit cards accurately.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The associate may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and the noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and specific vision abilities are required to perform the essential functions of this job.
Standards of Appearance:
This position is highly visible in all resort areas, and team members must present a clean, professional appearance, adhering to Daily Management's Standards of Appearance.
Standards of Conduct:
The high ethical standards of Daily Management must be upheld by all members of the Resort team, and the policies relative to press relations, equal opportunity, discrimination, sexual harassment, vendor relations, alcohol consumption, etc., stated in the Team Member handbook and manuals are inviolable.
