Front Desk Clerk Job Description
Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Greensprings Vacation Resort. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and owners, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check guests in and out of the property, responding to their requests and ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Input information into the computerized reservations system to update and maintain records.
- Access the reservation system to resolve unit availability and assist guests with reservations or changes.
- Generate invoices and collect monies due through the rental program and merchandise sales.
- Maintain safety deposit boxes and receive housekeeping and maintenance requests or work orders.
- Prepare and restock the front desk with supplies, including preparing arrival packets.
- Provide information on area attractions and resort amenities.
- Type correspondence and reports for management as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficient English language and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- A courteous and professional attitude, with the ability to handle upset guests and difficult situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice to meet business demands.
- Ability to multi-task responsibilities and prioritize duties to meet organizational deadlines and demands.
- 6 months of customer service experience.
