KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee administrative and operational duties for designated departments, which includes managing financial aspects, human resources, operational workflows, quality of care, clinical outcomes, and ensuring satisfaction among patients, physicians, and staff. Engage in change management and fulfill other relevant responsibilities associated with this role.

Act as a vital member of the management team and Shared Governance Model, dedicated to advancing the mission, vision, and values of Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center, while promoting a patient-centered approach and enhancing family-centered services throughout the care continuum.

Responsible for succession planning, identifying and nurturing talent, and providing the necessary support, education, and resources to cultivate future nursing leaders. May assist in staffing to ensure clinical care for diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Directly coordinate daily operations that impact patient care and customer service delivery.
2. Ensure a safe working environment and foster a culture of excellence in customer care. Manage quality patient care and outcomes, coordinating quality initiatives and process improvements to enhance departmental and hospital performance metrics.
3. Oversee strategic planning and growth initiatives for assigned departments.
4. Facilitate the provision and documentation of personalized care tailored to patients' identified needs, utilizing best practice standards to enhance the patient care experience.
5. Manage financial responsibilities in collaboration with the Director, including the creation and oversight of the annual budget and specific financial targets. Ensure a reconciliation process to capture revenue effectively.
6. Mentor and manage Human Resources, focusing on efficiency and maximizing productivity.
7. Oversee Patient/Physician/Staff Satisfaction metrics.
8. Collect and analyze performance data to drive improvements. Implement and manage change effectively.
9. Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections.
10. Uphold clinical and technical proficiency, with the potential to provide direct patient care as needed.
11.

Guide staff, promote collaborative decision-making, and encourage participation at all levels to achieve departmental objectives.

Job Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient) or clinical (outpatient) setting, including at least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience. Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area for which you are applying.


MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Advanced certification in the specialty field (if applicable).
BLS certification required.
