Clinical Nurse Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee administrative and operational functions for designated departments, including financial management, human resources, operational efficiency, quality assurance, and clinical outcomes. Ensure high levels of patient, physician, and staff satisfaction while managing change and other relevant duties associated with this role.
Actively participate in the management team and Shared Governance Model, dedicated to advancing the mission, vision, and values of Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center, while fostering a patient-centered approach and enhancing value-driven healthcare outcomes.
Responsible for succession planning, talent identification, and providing necessary support, education, and resources to cultivate future nursing leaders. May assist in staffing to ensure clinical care for patients across various age groups.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Directly coordinate daily operations that influence patient care and service delivery.
2. Ensure a safe working environment and promote a culture of excellence in customer service. Manage quality patient care and outcomes, implementing quality initiatives and process improvements to enhance performance metrics.
3. Lead planning, growth, and strategic initiatives for assigned departments.
4. Facilitate personalized care provision and documentation based on patients' identified needs, utilizing best practice standards to enhance the patient care experience.
5. Collaborate with the Director to manage financial aspects, including the creation and oversight of the annual budget and financial targets. Ensure proper revenue capture through reconciliation processes.
6. Mentor Human Resources to optimize efficiency and productivity.
7. Oversee Patient/Physician/Staff Satisfaction initiatives.
8. Collect and analyze performance data to drive improvements. Implement and manage change effectively.
9. Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections.
10. Ensure clinical and technical proficiency, with the potential to provide direct patient care.
11.
Guide staff, foster collaborative decision-making, and encourage participation at all levels to achieve departmental objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting, including at least one (1) year in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated clinical expertise in the relevant specialty area.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Advanced specialty certification as applicable.
BLS certification required.
