This unit boasts a stable environment with a significant proportion of experienced staff and dedicated charge nurses available for both day and night shifts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee administrative and operational functions for designated departments, which includes management of financial resources, human capital, operational workflows, quality assurance, clinical outcomes, and satisfaction levels among patients, physicians, and staff. Engage in change management and other pertinent responsibilities associated with this role.
Act as a vital member of the management team and Shared Governance Model, dedicated to advancing the mission, vision, and values of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice. Embrace a patient-centered approach while enhancing family-centered services throughout the care continuum and improving value-driven outcomes.
Accountable for succession planning, talent identification, and providing support, education, and resources to cultivate future nursing leaders. May be required to assist with staffing to ensure clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient) or clinical (outpatient) setting, including at least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience is essential. Proven clinical proficiency in the specialty area is required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Advanced certification in the relevant specialty area (if applicable) is advantageous. BLS certification is mandatory.
