KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee administrative and operational functions for designated departments, including financial management, human resources, operational efficiency, quality of care, clinical outcomes, and satisfaction of patients, physicians, and staff. Engage in change management and other pertinent responsibilities associated with this role.
Act as a member of the management team and Shared Governance Model, dedicated to advancing the mission, vision, and values of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice. Embrace a patient-centered philosophy while enhancing family-centered services throughout the care continuum and improving value-driven outcomes.
Responsible for succession planning, talent identification, and providing support, education, and resources to cultivate future nursing leaders. May assist in staffing as necessary to ensure clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient) or clinical (outpatient) setting, including at least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience is essential. Demonstrated clinical proficiency in the specialty area for which you are applying.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in the relevant specialty area (if applicable). BLS certification is mandatory.
