We are on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of VFX Runner Intern within our visual effects (VFX) department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in visual effects production within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the VFX industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the VFX team with on-set support and location scanning as directed.
  • Provide administrative assistance, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, taking notes, and performing various tasks to support the VFX team and production efforts.
  • Help maintain an organized and efficient workspace for the VFX team, ensuring cleanliness, restocking supplies, and verifying that equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Run errands as required, including the transportation of materials, packages, and equipment between the studio and production teams.
  • Support the logging and tracking of VFX assets, shots, and deliverables using spreadsheets.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the VFX Production Assistant, VFX Coordinator, VFX Supervisor, or other production team members to facilitate the overall function of the VFX department.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in film, animation, visual effects, or a related discipline, with a keen interest in a career within the entertainment sector.
  • Prior experience in a production setting, ideally in a support or assistant capacity.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with a talent for prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor when engaging with team members and external contacts.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and readiness to embrace new challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other standard office software.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must have legal eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, as necessary for production activities.

Compensation:

This is an unpaid internship with compensation based on the number of working days.
