Position Summary:
The Service Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Service Manager by ensuring accurate and timely documentation related to the service department's activities within the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare productivity and efficiency reports for Service Technicians.
- Collaborate closely with technicians to guarantee the correct parts are ordered for service needs.
- Manage service accessories and supplies, including preparing orders for replacements.
- Generate lists of back-ordered parts and provide updates on expected shipping dates or statuses.
- Ensure returned parts or cores are promptly available to the Parts Department for accurate restocking or returns.
- Oversee and manage the oil sampling program.
- Open and close work orders as instructed by the Service Manager.
- Maintain organized records and files for the service department, ensuring the service library is up-to-date.
- Update customer profiles regularly.
- Keep a tidy work area and perform tasks in an orderly manner, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Stay informed about John Deere and competing products.
- Address inquiries from both internal and external customers directed to the Service Department.
- Maintain consistent on-site attendance, with responsibilities in both indoor and outdoor environments, while being aware of potential exposure to various conditions.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Preferred experience in construction and forestry.
- Required: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate degree is a plus.
- Experience in a service department setting.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in basic computer operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
