Quantitative Research Specialist

Are you passionate about shaping a brighter future through research? At Designit, we value creativity and collaboration, and we are on the lookout for a Mixed Method Researcher with a Quantitative Focus to enhance our enterprise technology design team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading research initiatives and UX methodologies that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in product development.
  • Crafting and implementing comprehensive research strategies that yield extensive market insights and profound customer understanding essential for product innovation.
  • Extracting insights from both quantitative and qualitative data, complementing your own research efforts with collaborative studies.
  • Gathering and interpreting quantitative data utilizing statistical tools and software.
  • Continuously informing the engineering roadmap through customer data analysis, identifying gaps, pain points, and potential enhancements.
  • Analyzing quantitative results to discern patterns, correlations, and trends, translating them into actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to define research strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conducting in-depth customer interviews to gather qualitative insights.
  • Executing various research methodologies and data analyses that yield practical insights.
  • Effectively communicating research findings and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in quantitative research methodologies, including survey design and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with qualitative research techniques such as interviews and focus groups.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant research or product planning experience.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing human behavioral data to inform product development.
  • Ability to generate research plans and conduct thorough data analysis.
  • An advanced degree in HCI, market research, psychology, or a related field, or a relevant bachelor's degree with significant industry experience.
  • Experience in enterprise and technology sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Compensation: $55/hr. - $60/hr. This range reflects the role's expectations and will be discussed during the interview process.
