Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Contract UX Researcher to join our team at Rylem Staffing. As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform product direction and detailed experience design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct usability tests, focus groups, interviews, surveys, and field research to gather insights on user behavior and preferences.
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and business partners to ensure research findings are actionable and inform product decisions.
  • Translate research findings into compelling recommendations and deliver them to stakeholders.
  • Communicate research results to engineering and business teams, and evangelize the importance of UX research in product development.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX research or a related field.
  • Graduate degree (Master's or Ph.D) in a field such as computer science, experimental psychology, sociology, or human factors.
  • Thorough knowledge of UX research approaches and methodologies.
  • Experience operating in highly technical domains.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a proven ability to turn research results into product insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence a range of audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
