About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Digital Operations Manager to join our TV and Media Solutions team at YouTube. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in accelerating our TV and Originals businesses with stellar technology solutions, operations, and partner support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day digital operations for YouTube TV, Primetime Channels, and media-related products, ensuring seamless live monitoring and escalation management.
  • Design and implement operational processes using streaming/broadcast expertise, applying tools and automation solutions for scale and growth.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and build the right operational processes and tooling investments, driving operational improvements in partnership with the governance team.
  • Forecast and plan for recurring operational and capital expenses, supporting work on priority live events for YouTube.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 5 years of product operations, project management, or equivalent experience, including 3 years in the Media, OTT, or media industry.
  • 3 years of experience with live broadcasting and live streaming operations, including event day and escalation management, and video streaming/broadcast solutions.
  • Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science, or a related field, 5 years of experience in managing vendor/contractors extended staff and running global and scaled operations.

As a Digital Operations Manager at YouTube, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $106,000-$156,000, bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
