Likewise, a leading media and entertainment platform, is seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Digital Ad Sales to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Revenue Growth: Deliver immediate revenue against target plan by developing and executing a comprehensive ad sales strategy.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key marketers and media agencies in non-endemic categories, such as luxury, auto, travel, finance, fintech, and CPG.
- Platform Promotion: Ensure our email newsletters and discovery platform are top-of-mind during key planning and buying cycles.
- New Business Development: Successfully pitch and win new clients, grow existing revenue from current clients, and create marketing and advertising industry awareness of Likewise.
- Pitch Development: Compellingly articulate the benefits and unique features of a scaled email newsletter product.
- Industry Events: Represent Likewise at advertising industry events.
- 10+ years of experience in a leading ad sales organization, ideally in digital publishing or media.
- A network of leading category marketers and agencies with whom you are currently or very recently pitching and winning deals.
- Expertise in selling email newsletter products specifically, either as a standalone or as part of a broader portfolio of sales products.
- Ability to manage short and long-term revenue targets.
- Deep understanding of marketer and client needs and campaign objectives.
- Ability to work in an unstructured, start-up culture.
- Proven senior-level experience in sales.
- Ability to compellingly pitch deals, structure and negotiate, and close partnerships.
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial, scrappy, nose for deals and dollars.
Likewise offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $165K - 230K, with significant commission potential over and above base. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any offer. The range listed is the full base salary range for the role, and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of Likewise's total compensation, which includes: PTO; paid holidays; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance; employee assistance program; 401k; professional development; paid parental leave; and stock options.
