About the Role

Hobart Service is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Service Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient dispatch of service calls to our technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming service requests and log customer calls with relevant information in our system.
  • Schedule service calls to technicians and provide necessary information to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain a follow-up system for parts ordered by technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inspection lists and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, including tracking consignment, assisting walk-in customers, and handling phone calls for supervisors.
  • Train or cross-train other employees as needed.
  • Follow up on completed service calls to verify customer satisfaction and promote service contracts.
  • Prepare and mail invoices, as well as perform 3rd party billing.
  • Schedule PMs and prepare quotes for repairs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business or trade.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar or related role, with a strong background in high-volume dispatching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
