Job Description

The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of tasks necessary for providing efficient service to our clients. This position requires regular communication with district personnel and ongoing interaction with customers and external partners, demanding exceptional interpersonal abilities to cultivate positive client relationships. Additionally, the role may involve managing sensitive information where confidentiality is critical to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming service requests via telephone and accurately record customer information in the system.
  • Organize service appointments for technicians, supplying essential details and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
  • Oversee follow-up procedures for parts ordered by technicians to guarantee customer satisfaction in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform clerical duties including assisting with inventory management, addressing customer inquiries, and supporting supervisory staff.
  • Collaborate with customers regarding estimates, pricing for new equipment, and updates on service completion.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to assess satisfaction post-service and promote service agreements.
  • Assist with invoicing, third-party billing, service scheduling, and repair quotations.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this position should possess:

  • A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification from a business or trade institution.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume dispatching or a related field.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of sitting and engaging in phone communication.
  • Potential for overtime as required.
