ROLE SCOPE AND SIGNIFICANCE

The Solar Power Electrical Engineers at Moss are essential in steering large-scale utility solar initiatives. They aid in supervising contract management, procurement processes, and scheduling, which are critical to the success of projects and satisfaction of clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees project initiation, selection of subcontractors, and development of construction timelines
  • Accelerates material procurement, reviews coordination schematics, and ensures adherence to safety regulations
  • Facilitates project management, maintains check-hold lists, and compiles project progress reports
  • Monitors project expenditures, processes payment requests, and assists with change order management
  • Undertakes additional assigned responsibilities
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering discipline
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in solar project environments
  • Proficient computer, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Fundamental financial acumen is required
POSITION TITLE: Solar Power Electrical Engineer

WORK LOCATION: Multi-state, necessitating extensive travel

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, Exempt, Salaried

REPORTING TO: Solar Electrical Superintendent
