The Role

As a Scrum Master, you will be an integral part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team within a division of Fidelity. Your role will involve guiding and mentoring the squads on Agile principles, practices, and methodologies to ensure that the team operates efficiently, remains productive, and is focused on achieving sprint objectives.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Proven experience in promoting Agile behaviors and reinforcing practices, norms, ceremonies, and overall team performance and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum fundamentals and their application.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Kanban boards.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for team improvement and seek external best practices to support continuous enhancement.
  • Experience in leading and coordinating logistics for Agile ceremonies and practices, such as backlog maintenance, sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
  • Ensuring that all work is tracked in the backlog and evenly distributed among team members.
  • Maintaining and updating the team's process metrics and artifacts to ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Experience acting as or collaborating with a Scrum Master in leading teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required.


The Team

Fidelity Delivery Enablement comprises a team of over 300 Scrum Masters, Delivery Planning Leads, and Agile Coaches who collaborate with leaders and teams to inspect, adapt, and enhance high-impact delivery solutions. We cultivate an empowered delivery culture through insights, coaching, and enablement, championing continuous improvements that guide us toward business agility. Our focus is on building a highly integrated organization aimed at maximizing value delivery for Personal Investing. Our core capabilities include delivery insights, planning, alignment, and coaching.
