The Role

As a Scrum Master, you will combine extensive scrum knowledge with a commitment to mentoring and coaching, driving continuous improvement. In a highly collaborative environment, you will guide, mentor, and train teams on agile values, practices, and processes to enhance squad value delivery. Collaborating with the squad leader, you will manage the backlog, eliminate obstacles, and facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. You will oversee release management coordination and engage in scaling ceremonies and activities while managing interdependencies across squads and product areas. Your role will involve analyzing and driving team performance through metrics, identifying opportunities for the squad to maximize the benefits of an agile framework.

  • Collaborating effectively with squad and chapter leaders to achieve the squad's objectives through well-executed sprints.
  • Enhancing overall squad performance, efficiency, and value delivery by engaging within and across squads.
  • Maintaining and updating squad performance metrics (e.g., burn-down charts) and artifacts to provide clear feedback to squad members and transparency to stakeholders.
  • Coordinating logistics for and participating in agile events.
  • Demonstrating proven expertise in applying Agile/Scrum principles to accelerate value delivery.

The Team

You will support one or more cross-functional squads, engaging with all team members and the Squad Leader to reinforce and integrate an agile approach into daily operations. By exemplifying and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will help cultivate and sustain an innovative agile culture.



Dynamic Working

At Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most individuals to work flexibly, balancing personal and business needs through a hybrid working model. Most associates will have a hybrid schedule, with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week every four weeks. These requirements are subject to change.
