Job Responsibilities
The Patient Transport Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Patient Transport team, ensuring timely and safe patient transport for discharges, departmental clinical tests, and other tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the functionality of the transport track software to optimize patient transport efficiency and safety.
- Maintaining staff competency through training and mentoring, and conducting safety audits and system tracking reports.
- Providing ongoing system improvements and enhancements to services offered.
- Assisting with supervision and coordination of the Patient Transport team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a preference for patient transport and leadership experience.
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent, with an Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Work Schedule
The Patient Transport Team Lead will work Monday through Friday, 10:30pm-7:00am, with occasional weekend and call requirements as needed.
