Lead Electrical Engineering Manager

Position Overview
The Electrical Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding the activities of electrical development teams within TRG. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the implementation of activities across relevant teams.
- Oversee daily operations of multiple electrical development teams.
- Manage workload distribution and address any areas of concern.
- Ensure compliance with work instructions, processes, and procedures among team members.
- Facilitate prioritized development and ensure timely project completion.
- Review and approve project development plans, including resource allocation and budgeting.
- Coordinate regular meetings for the electrical team to ensure alignment and progress.
- Authorize reported work hours for team members under supervision.
- Evaluate team performance and assist in defining career paths for associates.
- Develop and implement training plans in collaboration with team members for career advancement.
- Ensure that team members receive adequate coaching and training in engineering and technical disciplines.
- Create resource forecasts for projects, both short-term and long-term.
- Recruit new electrical engineers based on resource forecasts in collaboration with management.
- Maintain team structure for all projects effectively.
- Ensure adherence to the electrical work plan by all team members.
- Establish and maintain standards for electrical design and verification documentation.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in electrical development processes.
- Supervise multiple project developments and deliveries using established matrices.
- Guide the team in responding to urgent solution requests as needed.
- Foster collaboration with other engineering disciplines and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Ensure that all team members are aware of legal risks related to HR and facilitate necessary training.
- Encourage team members to analyze the root causes of engineering issues and learn from past experiences.
- Promote a culture of independent work while encouraging teamwork and support among members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in automotive or equivalent electrical/electronics production design.
