  1. Facilitate training sessions on Rolls-Royce Solutions America (RRSA) diesel engine products and systems, both on-site and at various locations.
  2. Deliver information utilizing diverse instructional methods and formats, including simulations, team activities, group discussions, multimedia presentations, and lectures.
  3. Prepare for training programs by organizing classroom settings, tools, audio-visual equipment, and necessary materials.
  4. Design and develop tailored training programs and presentations focused on RRSA diesel engine products and systems to meet specific client requirements.
  5. Conduct audits of distributor training and certify external trainers.
  6. Assist management in the development of Guild examinations.
  7. Monitor, assess, and document training activities and their effectiveness.
  8. Maintain accurate training documentation and records related to attendance and certification standards.
  9. Organize and lead tours of the Training Center for both internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Promote a culture of compliance within the area of responsibility, embodying the principles of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
  11. Engage in special projects and assignments as required.
Work Environment:
  1. Daily tasks are performed in both classroom and warehouse/shop settings.
  2. While executing responsibilities, employees may occasionally need to stand, kneel, crouch, reach, or grasp.
  3. Regularly, employees are required to sit and utilize their hands for tasks such as operating a keyboard or mouse, and frequently need to walk within the work environment.

Qualifications:

Required:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science or Mechanical Technology, with five (5) years of experience in field service, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of power generation equipment; or nine (9) years of relevant experience.
  2. Five (5) years of experience with RRSA diesel engine products and systems.
  3. Extensive knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques, including various methods for informing and engaging through written, oral, and visual media.
  4. Proficient in the operation and troubleshooting of diesel power generation equipment, instrumentation, and electronic engine and power generation controls.
  5. Exceptional oral, written, and technical presentation communication skills.
  6. Strong understanding of training design principles, teaching methodologies for individuals and groups, and the evaluation of training outcomes.
  7. Proficient in the use of mechanical and electrical hand tools.
  8. Skilled in utilizing measurement and testing tools for mechanical and electrical systems.
  9. In-depth knowledge and field experience with diesel generation systems.
  10. Familiarity with technical language and engineering terminology.
  11. Strong foundation in the practical principles of electronics, physics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  12. Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and factory representation abilities.
  13. Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
  14. Analytical and creative problem-solving skills for complex issues.
  15. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
  16. Proficient in using a PC and MS Office Suite.
Preferred:
  1. Familiarity with Rolls-Royce Solutions America policies and procedures.
  2. Proficiency in Spanish technical language skills.
