Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of company vehicles in accordance with established policies.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues related to mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Utilize our maintenance software to document all vehicle repairs and inspections accurately.
  • Manage inventory and procure parts and supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company standards.
Performance Requirements:

  • Operational knowledge of diesel equipment and tools essential for troubleshooting and repairing gasoline and diesel truck systems.
  • Familiarity with International diesel medium-duty trucks and Ford gas and diesel engines is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, identify component failures, and conduct quality repairs.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical service manuals, repair orders, labels, and gauges.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (C or better) and compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
  • Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift (up to 50 lbs.), push, pull, climb, and lie in a horizontal position for extended periods.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and web-based maintenance tracking software.
  • Effective verbal communication skills for ordering parts and supplies.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle lift device (vehicle jack) using foot and arm pumping motions.
  • Work environment includes both semi-enclosed structures and outdoor settings, with exposure to chemicals, gasoline/diesel fumes, and intermittent high noise levels.
  • Full-time schedule requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Must meet DOT standards for brake and annual inspection certifications, with at least 1 year of experience or completion of an approved training program.
  • Basic hand tools are required; ASE or manufacturer certification is a plus.
