Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced sales and customer service professional to join our team as a Leasing Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for interviewing prospective residents, qualifying applicants, and completing lease agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview prospective residents to determine their needs and qualifications, and input information into our computer system.
  • Accompany prospects to model apartments and discuss the features and amenities of our properties.
  • Qualify prospective residents by verifying their applications, lease documents, and related paperwork.
  • Complete lease forms and collect rental deposits and application fees.
  • Introduce residents to our apartment/property procedures and promote positive, proactive resident relations.

Requirements

  • 1 year of demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be an effective listener and communicator with the ability to work well on a team.
  • Ability to work weekends.

Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits, and vacation accrual.
