About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Tech to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our sterile processing department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure optimal decontamination results.
  • Sort and restock mismatched sets of instruments, trays, and medical equipment, making them available to customers in a timely manner.
  • Perform environmental maintenance duties and assist in maintaining inventory levels in sterile processing, the operating room, and equipment storage areas.
  • Verify equipment functionality, requisition maintenance or replacement, and remove defective equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain established departmental policies, procedures, and quality improvement standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of decontamination and sterilization procedures, as well as medical instrument handling and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
