Your Role: We are looking for a skilled Project Management Engineer to contribute to our dynamic product development team focused on antennas and control systems. In this pivotal position, you will oversee and drive Internal Research and Development (IRAD) initiatives and other key projects. Your ability to bridge communication between Program Managers, Operations, Product Line Managers, and Engineering will be essential in managing project costs, scope, schedules, risks, and communications effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the execution of intricate commercial development projects involving Electromechanical Systems, integrating hardware, software, and mechanical elements.
  • Strategically plan and monitor engineering tasks to ensure timely project completion while maintaining organizational oversight.
  • Encourage collaboration across diverse teams to achieve project consensus.
  • Conduct regular reviews of engineering progress and present insights during program evaluations.
  • Implement necessary corrective measures to uphold project integrity.
  • Manage the Engineering schedule and effectively communicate technical performance and related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management, ideally within electronics or mechanical product development with multidisciplinary teams.
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering or technical leadership roles.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of engineering and technical management principles.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards and product development life cycles, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on conflict resolution.
  • Proficient in MS Project and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Previous experience in IRAD or New Product Introduction (NPI) development is advantageous.
  • Proven success in executing programs within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a commercial product development environment is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Telecom, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards ERP System.
