Carr Allison is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Tallahassee, Florida office.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably within a legal setting, is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation.
  • Staffing Coordination: Act as a liaison between attorneys and support staff, addressing staffing needs and promoting effective collaboration.
  • Legal Support: Coordinate continuous legal support for attorneys, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
  • Human Resources Management: Assist with HR functions including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or issues that may arise among employees or between attorneys and staff, escalating to upper management as needed.
  • Financial Administration: Perform light accounting duties such as writing checks, making deposits, submitting bills for payment, and maintaining financial records.
  • IT Support: Provide basic IT assistance to staff members, troubleshooting common issues and ensuring smooth technology operations.
  • Office Maintenance: Manage office equipment maintenance, order supplies, and oversee building upkeep, including coordinating with cleaning services and handling service calls.
