About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team at Strategic Resolution Experts (SRE). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting a wide range of projects and initiatives related to media relations, stakeholder communications, social media, digital platforms, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create standardized communication procedures and templates based on industry best practices to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Project Communications Management: Develop and disseminate project communications to keep stakeholders informed of project activities, progress, and outcomes.
- Communication Training and Feedback: Provide feedback and training to team members on writing style, messaging, and the appropriate media for communicating with stakeholders.
- Communication Evaluation: Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of organizational communications using various techniques and tools.
- Research and Development: Conduct research and develop questionnaires, surveys, and focus group interview items to gather insights and feedback from stakeholders.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Manage competing priorities through effective task prioritization and deadline setting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work products.
- Quality Assurance: Produce high-quality work products that meet customer and contractual requirements, with a focus on accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness.
- Integrity and Service Focus: Demonstrate integrity and a service-focused mindset in all interactions with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Flexibility and Resilience: Exhibit flexibility and resilience in responding to changing client needs, priorities, and deadlines.

Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, such as public relations, communications, or marketing.
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Mail, Citrix ShareFile, and online meeting platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. SRE offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Work Environment
The primary work location for this position is the Washington D.C. Metro area. Remote work is allowed, but not guaranteed. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.
