Position: Data Scientist

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 Months with potential for permanent hire

Key Responsibilities


• Utilize sophisticated statistical methodologies to address business challenges, including regression analysis, decision trees, neural networks, and natural language processing.


• Develop comprehensive experimental and analytical frameworks for data modeling, ensuring robust baselines and accurate causal inference.


• Construct and implement data pipelines, analytical tools, and decision support systems.


• Innovatively identify and pursue opportunities for predictive analytics to enhance business outcomes.


• Leverage Generative AI to improve data analysis and modeling capabilities.


• Establish and assess key performance indicators, understanding their drivers and implications.


• Take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and visual representations of data.


• Strategize to ensure analyses are repeatable and easily accessible.


• Actively seek to gain expertise in emerging technologies and methodologies.


• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, translating findings into clear narratives.

Essential Qualifications & Skills


• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline; Master’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.


• Strong foundation in analytical techniques and statistical principles.


• Proficient in writing clean, efficient code, particularly in Python or R.


• Experience in crafting and optimizing SQL queries.


• Proven ability to conduct thorough exploratory data analysis.


• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, showcasing strong written and verbal communication.


• Demonstrated capability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.


• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to complete tasks within reasonable timeframes.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Positive and proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills


• Familiarity with Warranty Analytics and/or Diesel Engines is advantageous.


• Experience in model development using frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Transformer.


• Programming skills in Python, C#, or Java.


• Knowledge of non-relational database systems.


• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
