The Role

The Director Business Development is a seasoned sales leader with experience in senior sales roles within professional services firms.

They will be responsible for owning the revenue target for the overall organization while maintaining a small book of business themselves.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, creating sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing and mentoring our business development team members.
  • Desired Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
    • 5+ years of management experience.
    • 8+ years of outside sales experience.
    • Experience in software or solutions sales, ideally managed services, or technology-related services.
    • Experience working within and contributing to a multi-disciplinary leadership team.
    • Experience with multi-branch operations.
    • Expertise meeting with C-suite of enterprise-level organizations.
    • Formal sales management and leadership training.
    • Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
    • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite for Business experience, preferred.
